Loved our 3 night stay! Beautiful spacious, comfortable room in lovely grounds. Beds are SO comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful too. We had dinner on the weekend here, the menu is less extensive on the weekend but dishes were okay. Super impressed with their recycling bins on the grounds. Their “Go green” initiative is wonderful! Thanks team x

Very nice modern rooms with a small kitchen and the basics. Loved the roomy shower and the spa bath. The hotel also has a nice pool area and a restaurant. Be careful of the very slippery tiles in the shower. Hot and cold breakfast available but very basic. 1 x 4 slot toaster is really not enough to serve busy guests or indeed a bus full of tourists that I got mixed up with. Points lost for tardy waitresses.

This is probably the best feeling hotel in Kal. Good sized rooms, good facilities in them, good beds, nice outdoor area It's let down by.... Really slow service in the kitchen (although the food is good) Cash only washing machines which is really tricky if you don't carry cash or cards! It is outside of the city area so if you want to be close to the action you might not like it. But if not, this is the place to be.

Hotel rooms were clean and spacious. Pool is great with shaded area and spa. We travelled over Xmas break and service was terrible. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had, was not informed prior to or on booking that due to Xmas period breakfast would start at 7.00am instead of 6.00am which meant we missed one day due to pre booked plans and would be continental only. Breakfast consisted of bread, four bowls of melon and pineapple, two bowls of yoghurt, 3 cereals and a small tray of pastries which was served by a staff member who also seemed to covering reception area! Cost is advertised as $20 per person! Food was empty after 2 guests! Slow to refill and saw staff opening packets of pre purchased pastries. Very disappointing! Felt we should have been refunded.

Not really a 4 star hotel. More like a comfortable 2.5 to 3 stars. Restaurant food very average and over priced. Room clean and comfortable but dated. Nothing like the web photos. Very noisy aircon, dark room, odd smell of cleaning solutions. I chose this hotel as a stop over for Christmas Day with my son. I was expecting a resort type feel based on the web photos. More inline with an up market roadside motel. Would normaly expect a gym for four stars. Its an OK hotel but falls short of expectations. Based on all the five star reviews there is either something wrong with me feeling entitled (which I dont think I am) or maybe just unlucky room allocation. I wish there was an honest way of providing a customer with an accurate hotel rating. For most people choosing a hotel is important as it is an essential part of a holiday and the experience. Often times the hotel is chosen based on ratings and cost. I normally choose 4-5 star hotels as they are associated with a certain level of luxury. As we only use hotels a few times per year I am happy to pay a bit extra for good quality. Photos and ratings are so misleading and not really any way to filter the ratings and dates to provide a reasonable account of what to expect.
